Joy

Joy is my first adult life size Bichon dog.

She is from my original design,

and made entirely by me, Tammy.
 As an artist made sculpture, and the extensive detailed work

involved, she will be one of a kind and not replicated.

I try to provide you with the clearest, detailed

photos possible, so they may take a few

seconds to load, but I hope they will

be worth the wait. 

She is created from long, curly, genuine Schulte mohair.

A unique characteristic to this

mohair is that you can brush it out and make it

all fluffy...or you can wet it to bring out the curl...

just like a real Bichon.

Her nose is uniquely sculpted with nostrils, by hand,
and crafted in a way that makes it permanently

part of her, it is not an attachment. 

I've meticulously shaped and shaded her mouth and bottom lip.

Her premium glass eyes are extensively detailed with eyes rims.

With some pictures it is hard to see detail,

but her eyes have a subtle sclera at the

inner corners, and slightly underneath.

She has very defined halos.

She measures true to life size according to AKC standards.

At the withers she is 11",  from top of head

 (not counting the 3" fluff) she is 16" high,

 and she is 16" from nose tip to rump.

With my own unique design, she is completely articulate

and can be posed in many cute and playful positions.

Joy can sit, stand, lay and stretch out.

Even her plumed tail is wired for placement.

She's already trying to get to her Christmas stocking!

Her feet are nicely trimmed and rounded.

Meet Toby, our new furbaby...

this was not an easy picture to take... 

But this one was even harder!
