About
the Artist
First and foremost, I love my dogs…I
just love dogs. I love the furry four
legged little critters that were
created in love, and known as our best friends.
I know, and experience the true joy, and
genuine love they give us.
My husband Marc and I were married in
1991 and we were never able
to have children of our own. Human
children that is, but we have always had
little furry kids. We now have two
miniature Schnauzers and a miniature
poodle that are the light of our life.
Dogs have always been,
and will always be a central part of
our lives.
During the course of our marriage we
have lost 4 fur-children,
3 dogs and one cat. While everyone’s
loss is unique, I do know
how much I hurt, how much my heart
ached and longed for our
baby. Though time has passed since our
last loss, time never removes
the love, and place in my heart for our
fur babies.
With My Furever Friend I hope to
share my ability to create
something special for those longing to
hold their little girl or boy again.

A Little More….
In 1996 my mother died from breast
cancer, she was only 55.
I wanted a teddy bear made from her old
fur coat. Not knowing anyone who could
do such a thing I taught myself how to
sew, and eventually made a teddy bear.
What makes that unique is that I was
born with only one hand, I have only a stub
just past my right elbow. But my Mom
always told me I could do anything I wanted
to if I believed I could. I believed.
In 1999 I started making teddy bears, then in 2003
I followed my heart and began creating
dogs. I do continue my work with people
who have lost human loved ones too. It
was the death of my Mother that propelled
me into making teddy bears, and then
the love of my dogs that guided me in to making dogs.
