Furry Fluffy Bears
mixed with your special garments.
The following bears are a special bears
made differently than the others.
I select a fur, plush, or mohair that best
compliments your beloved’s garment
and I make the head and paw pads all
from my own fur,
then incorporate your special fabrics
in an original way to replicate
the loved ones clothing or keepsake.
With the fur bears, I am able to
add a little depth in detail and
expression.
This
lovely lady is made from a long fluffy mohair,
but her
body is made from a beautiful pant suit
and top
with a floral sheer.
A darling
little bear using a special dress
as the
body and pawpads. The lattice work from the dress
I also
incorporated for the bear.
Another
lady bear made from a special sequined
dress…using
the sparkling button as more
a
remembrance of this classy lady.
This sweet
bear is made from a charming pink skirt.
I utilized
the appliqués and added twirly bows to match.
She’s made
from a buttery colored curly mohair.
This big fella
here is created from a sweatshirt
that was
personalized for the beloved. I’ve used as much
of the
original design as I could, even
incorporating
the
personalized message across the arm and leg.
I’ve used a soft golden tan colored mohair.
This pretty
little girl is made in memory of just the same, a
precious
little girl. This was one of her little outfits. I used
the plaid
jacket accessorizing the bear with the collar and buttons.
I even
made a little skirt for the bear to, just like the one she wore.
This one I
made a pocket in the back to place a momento
such as a
lock of hair, or tooth.
The teddy
is made from a golden beige, curly mohair.
This
beautiful bear is made in loving memory
of a
precious 4 yr old blue-eyed blonde baby girl.
We used a
darling little dress, then I made the bear
from
blonde mohair, and hand painted the bears’ eyes blue.
This
handsome man is made from a beautiful dressy top.
We added
glasses for that special touch just like Dad.
This 18” bear
is made from a golden tan mohair, with
the shirt
and little pair of pants belonging to a little
4 year old
baby boy named Michael.
A special
way to keep his memory alive.
Another
bear for Michael, this one created from some little thermal pjs
and other
shirts to compliment each other. The bear
is wearing
an actual thermal top that Michael wore.
This sweet
bear is made from a windbreaker type outfit.
I used a
complimentary color of mohair for her furry parts.
Here hair
bow is the tie from the outfit.
An
elaborate little lady here…we used lace, and velour and satin…
all
special pieces of a variety of garments.
A
beautiful Scottish plaid jacket was use for this bears.
A soft curly blonde mohair for the face and feet.
Here’s a nice,
pair of handsome bears
made from
a shirts and slacks.
This
darling bear is made from jammies
and a
coat. I incorporated a smaller version of the coat’s
hoodie for
this special bear to wear.

for a cute sweet faced bear.
This bear
is made from my mohair and some treasured
garments,
incorporating the fabric in the ears, and paws.
We made a
pillow with the significant dates stitched on.
Now these
big boy bears were fun. I made them using grandpas
favorite
hunting gear…vest and all! I took his vest, and
duplicated
two smaller one for each of the bears,
even using
the zipper and snaps. The under part of the bears were
made from
more t-shirts. Cocoa colored mohair was used.
This bear
is made from part of a wool jacket and black silk shirt.
I
duplicated the collar and used the buttons.
A golden tan mohair was used for the face and paws.
This
precious 18” BabyBear was made from a Pooh outfit that
was to be
worn by a little angel that never made it to earth.
This sweet
bear was made from a the work uniform belonging to
a very
much missed son. I replicated the look using the shirt and pants
respectively
for the bears’ top and bottoms.
This big
happy boy is wearing a little jacket that was worn
by a dear
son when he was little, and the tie also used for the paw
pads worn
by the beloved.
We
incorporated both special garments for one
teddy
bear, in memory of one beloved son.
Another handsome
bear using a favorite shirt and slacks.
We gave
this bear beautiful blue eyes, just like the beloved’s.

My bears are all made uniquely and individually
for you.
Each is designed with the person, and
the materials in mind,
to make the sweetest and most precious
bear possible.
They’re different…as we are different
as individuals.
Some are traditional looking, others
are feisty and happy!
Some need comforting, but all will be
comforters.
A few will have bent arms and legs,
others will be straight.
Most have stitched noses, a few have
plastic noses.
Some may have colorful noses and paw
pads that match the
fabrics, others’ may not.
All will be filled with love to bring a
smile, and yes maybe a tear too.
And if you let them…they will bring
comfort and hope and hugs all just for you!

"HEALING HEART" sculpture has scars that represent past losses,
the break symbolizes a very painful
loss in life, but the bandage represents
the healing power and presence of
God, holding the heart together while healing takes place.
